Business Development Manager

Job Description:
BSG is seeking an exceptional salesperson with the contacts, drive and enthusiasm to achieve phenomenal success with the company's new payment processing initiatives. This position will focus on selling BSG's suite of payment processing, risk management and merchant acquiring services (BSG is a registered ISO for multiple banks) to existing customers and national accounts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Source Prospects - Develop and maintain a pipeline of target clients and channel sales partners
  • Deliver Contracts - Manage the entire sales cycle and exceed sales quotas
  • Account Management - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with contacts within target organizations
  • Represent BSG at industry symposiums and conventions

Profile:

  • A relevant under-graduate degree (i.e. Business, Finance, MIS, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated success selling credit card, ACH or risk management services
  • Payment processing - knowledge of credit card and ACH regulations, and the payments industry
  • Demonstrated expertise cultivating C-level contacts for major accounts and national brands
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rolodex - CNP telecommunications and e-commerce experience are highly valued
  • Advanced degree - MBA or other relevant degree preferred
  • Previous experience working for a merchant acquirer or third party processor
